Brother’s new Innov-is 1500D
Take a large embroidery area, combine with 900 stitch types and add many brilliant accessories – introducing the new Brother Innov-is 1500D.
Embroidery
The Innov-is 1500D offers a large embroidery area (a 260mm x 160mm hoop is included) – and an impressive 800 stitches per minute
embroidery speed. The machine offers a backlit LCD touch screen which can be viewed from a wide angle, allowing you to make design selections, and advise
you with step-by-step instructions. It gives you access to countless designs – the machine has 148 built-in embroidery designs, including
76 Disney, plus the flexibility to connect your machine directly to a PC via the USB port and easily transfer designs you have
downloaded from the internet. The Innov-is 1500D has built-in colour thread charts, featuring Brother threads and those of major
manufacturers, meaning colours do not have to be matched by eye only. The two embroidery frames supplied with the machine have a new angled
screw so that you can tighten the frame easily, helping keep your material firmly in place.
Sewing
As a standalone sewing machine, the Innov-is 1500D offers a massive number of utility (105) and decorative (239) stitches and when combined,
can produce 900 variations of stitch in total. It offers a large sewing workspace, allowing bigger and bulkier fabrics to
pass under the needle with ease, and a seven point multi-directional feed also helps with smooth flow and changes in direction. A nifty fabric
thickness sensor automatically sets the tension for the fabric being used. The Innov-is 1500D offers several functions to make sewing smoother -
namely a knee lift and an automatic thread cutter. The LCD touch screen offers a large viewing angle plus sewing advisor.
There are five LED lights on the sewing area which create for a ‘daytime’ effect, an automatic needle-threader and, as the machine
has two motors, you can wind a new bobbin as you sew.
Extra
The Innov-is 1500D offers many standard accessories including additional feet, a variable speed foot control, a spool table, spare bobbins,
scissors and a thread picker among other useful items. Brother offer a two year’ manufacturers warranty on the
Innov-is 1500D with free software updates for the life of the machine via the www.brother.co.uk website. The Brother Innov-is 1500D costs
