And that was certainly the case when the Brother Innov-isCS-8120 secured a coveted Good Housekeeping Institute
accreditation, following rigorous consumer quality assessment testing.
For what was a wonderful achievement in its own right proved to be only
the beginning.
The dust had hardly settled when notification came through that the Innov-is CS-8120 had been chosen as one of six category winners in the Good Housekeeping Innovations Awards 2003, eventully beating more than 200 entries to win the small appliance category.
It’s appropriate that a product from the newly-launched Innov-is range
should be recognised and honoured by such an award. And is testament to the progressive design and technology being built as standard into Brother machines.
Steve Fothergill, General Manager of Brother’s Embroidery and Sewing Solutions Division, said: “We are delighted to have passed the stringent GHI tests and won this award. We believe that ease-of-use and the new Innov-is cassette system were definitely part of the reason.”
The unique ‘slot and sew’ thread technology incorporated into ‘Innov-is’ machines offers automatic machine threading, completely eradicating manual intervention. Cassettes are simply loaded with thread spool and then slotted into place - if there is a need to change colour during sewing, a second cassette is quickly re-loaded.
